Duties:

The Business Management and Administration Manager will be responsible for overseeing assigned business and administrative functions on a Federal Government program.  The following duties may not be all inclusive.

  1. Manage contractor staff providing administrative support to Government.

  2. Manage contractor services to provide information publishing, graphics, communications, presentation and meeting support services to Government customer.

  3. Monitor team’s work progress, initiatives and accomplishments.

  4. Ensure compliance with pertinent performance standards and criteria.

  5. Provide editor services for intermediate and final review of high-profile program documents and presentations.  Edit federally published documents.

  6. Develop and manage a detailed activity calendar in collaboration with the customer and internal team members.

  7. Support program and project reviews with scheduling, agenda topics, and reviewing and revising draft briefing materials with senior management.  Ensure accuracy of final presentation.

  8. Assist in maintaining the program’s action tracking system.

  9. Advise federal customer on administrative and business matters.

  10. Support workforce readiness through consistent training and cross-functional development.

  11. Act as site point of contact for human resources, payroll, benefits and reporting matters.

  12. Related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, science or related field.

  2. Seven years relevant experience with at least three years’ experience in federal government or with federal government contractor preferred.

  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  5. Ability to learn federal software systems as required.

  6. Proficiency in English language.
